My final project was a blast to make. It had all the elements from the class that I enjoyed. Making interactive media is enjoyable and also rewarding. Creating the music was the easy part but creating a fitting video was challenging. I felt comfortable with imovie from our previous remix project so the end result was not so bad. Another challenging aspect of the final project was making it interactive. I chose to achieve this by using a wiki as a forum for the music video. I included other aspects of the project such as the lyrics to the song and director's commentary. Hopefully this will get people interacting with the project as a whole. I would love to continue in this direction someday and work with more advanced video software. I have a little experience with making my own films so to continue on this path makes sense.
I feel that the project itself is substantial becomes it combines three distinct skills that were learned during the semester into one cohesive whole. The audio, video, and interactive wiki work well with each other. They were very challenging to make individually but when combined they work really well together. The underlying argument of the piece is the fact that music is enhanced with video images this is further enhanced when combined with interactivity. My initial argument was the fact that music videos are interactive enough on their own but through the creation of the project I have found that by creating an aspect in which people can participate and contribute, the creation is improved. The interactivity with my project is realized through the workspace which it inhabits. The project or music video resides in a space that is interactive in nature. This is the wiki of course. The wiki provides people with the ability to comment on certain aspects of the project. They can contribute their own opinion to the meaning of the piece because the wiki provides them with an appropriate outlet to do so. Overall I feel that the challenge of creating music, video, and interactivity was very rewarding.

Workshopping Blog
So I thought the workshopping was semi helpful. I realized that my project had no outlet for interaction before hand and mentioned something to that affect. This was the main comment that I got though. No interaction. I believe that I even had a helpful conversation about this during my workshop. Megan had some great advice though. I really wanna do the directors commentary. I think that would be cool. I also agree with Robbie's comment about the vocal levels. I was already aware of that problem and I will definitely lower them. I also enjoyed the brief discussion that we had about the argument of the piece. That was helpful. So far so good. Now I just gotta build the wiki, make a directors commentary, and so on.
